**EPF Wage Ceiling Hike:**

केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने EPF वेज सीलिंग ₹15,000 से बढ़ाकर ₹25,000 करने का ऐतिहासिक फैसला लिया। यह बदलाव 17 साल बाद हुआ है, पिछली बार 2014 में संशोधन किया गया था। इससे लगभग 51 लाख नए कर्मचारी EPFO के दायरे में आएंगे। अब ₹25,000 तक वेतन पाने वाले कर्मचारी अनिवार्य रूप से EPF में शामिल होंगे। इससे कर्मचारियों की PF राशि, पेंशन और बीमा कवरेज बढ़ेगा। EPS पेंशन योग्य वेतन भी ₹15,000 से ₹25,000 होगा, जिससे रिटायरमेंट पेंशन में बड़ा इजाफा होगा। EDLI बीमा कवर भी बढ़ेगा। यह कदम असंगठित क्षेत्र के श्रमिकों को सामाजिक सुरक्षा देने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण है।
