संघ लोक सेवा आयोग (UPSC) ने Engineering Services Examination (ESE) Mains 2026 का परिणाम जारी कर दिया है। मुख्य परीक्षा में सफल उम्मीदवार अब अगले चरण यानी पर्सनैलिटी टेस्ट/इंटरव्यू के लिए पात्र होंगे। अभ्यर्थी अपना रिजल्ट UPSC की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट upsc.gov.in पर जाकर रोल नंबर के जरिए देख सकते हैं। ESE परीक्षा के माध्यम से सिविल, मैकेनिकल, इलेक्ट्रिकल और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एंड टेलीकम्युनिकेशन इंजीनियरिंग क्षेत्रों में केंद्र सरकार की सेवाओं के लिए अधिकारियों का चयन किया जाता है।

The third day of the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow features Indian athletes competing in boxing, swimming, artistic gymnastics, lawn bowls and 3x3 wheelchair basketball. After a positive start to the campaign, India aims to strengthen its medal tally. Fast Track Special Courts (FTSCs), created to ensure speedy trials in rape and POCSO cases, are struggling with a backlog of nearly 2.5 lakh pending cases. Despite their objective of delivering quick justice, delays have increased due to rising case numbers, limited resources and procedural challenges. In 2025, these courts disposed of around 66,500 cases, while pendency reached 2,45,579 cases. The situation has raised concerns over the effectiveness of fast-track justice mechanisms.

SpaceX successfully launched its 13th Starship test flight from Starbase, Texas, carrying and deploying 20 next-generation Starlink satellites. The mission tested upgraded Starship systems, including improved heat shield technology and satellite deployment capabilities. The spacecraft completed a controlled re-entry and splashdown in the Indian Ocean, marking a major step toward SpaceX’s goal of fully reusable rockets for future Moon and Mars missions. Starship is also expected to support NASA’s Artemis lunar exploration plans.

More than 200,000 people have been forced to evacuate as severe wildfires spread across parts of France and Spain amid extreme heat and dry conditions. In France, large fires near Bordeaux and coastal areas forced residents and tourists to flee, with some escaping by boat. Spain declared a national emergency as fires near Madrid and Ávila expanded rapidly. Authorities deployed thousands of firefighters and sought international assistance, while experts linked the worsening crisis to heatwaves, climate change and dry vegetation.
